In other to use softaculous app installer, you may need to make sure your web-hosting cpanel support it. You can find out from your hosting company about that.

How To Install WordPress Using Softaculous App Installer
1. Login into your hosting control panel and locate the Softaculous App Installer.
Next, Click on it.
As seen in the screenshot, this is the cpanel of namecheap hosting. The softaculous app installer can be anywhere on your cpanel, you just need to locate it and click on it.
2. On The Softaculous app page, you will see many different apps you can install. But the one we are going to be installing is WordPress. So click on the WordPress/Install to begin installation setup.
3. On the WordPress Installation setup page, you will need to fill the details carefully so you don’t make mistake.
The Section to Fill in are:
Choose the version you want to install: It is recommended you select the latest version to
Choose Protocol: If your site has SSL, then please choose the HTTPS protocol. It can be able HTTP or HTTPS. You can also choose to go with WWW. or non WWW, depending on your preference.
Choose Domain: Select from the domain(s) you want to install the software on
In Directory : The directory is relative to your domain and should not exist.
e.g. To install WordPress at https://wplearnhowto.com/blog/ just type Blog. To install only in https://wplearnhowto.com/ leave this empty.
Site Name: Type in the name of your WordPress site
Site Description: Type in the description
The Site name and site description helps in SEO. You can easily change this from the WordPress dashboard after installation
Enable Multisite (WPMU): If you want to Enable Multisite option for your WordPress blog check this option. Your server must support Apache mod_rewrite to use this feature.
This section control which login details you use to access your WordPress admin. Make sure they are correctly entered.
Admin Username: Enter a name, it will be your WordPress login username
Admin Password: Enter a password, it will be your WordPress login password. It is recommended you use a strong password
Admin Email: Enter an email address for use for your WordPress website.
The admin email will act as contact email for your website and also to help with password recovery if forgotten.
Select the Language you want to use on your website. The default is English.
If any of these plugins are checked, it will be install and activated with your WordPress Installation.
Limit Login Attempts (Loginizer) : This plugin Protect your site against bruteforce attacks by limiting the number of login attempts for your WordPress installation.
Classic Editor: Classic Editor restores the previous WordPress editor and the Edit Post screen and makes it possible to use the plugins that extend it, add old-style meta boxes, or otherwise depend on the previous editor.
wpCentral – Manage Multiple WordPress: This plugin Helps you to manage all your WordPress blogs from ONE dashboard.
For the advance options, you can skip. The only thing you may want to do from this section is to setup automated backup with your WordPress Installation.
Database Name: Leave as Default
Table Prefix: Leave as Default
Disable Update Notifications Emails: If you check this option, you will not receive an email notification for updates available for this installation.
Auto Upgrade: You can choose from this options as per your preference
Do not Auto Upgrade,Upgrade to Minor versions only or Upgrade to any latest version available (Major as well as Minor)
Auto Upgrade WordPress Plugins: When you check this option, the active WordPress plugins installed for this installation will be automatically upgraded to the latest version when your script installation is upgraded.
Auto Upgrade WordPress Themes: If checked, the active WordPress theme for this installation will be automatically upgraded to the latest version when your script installation is upgraded.
This only applies to to Themes from WordPress Directory and maybe wordpress theme you purchased directly.
This section control if you want to enable automated backups
Backup Location as default
Automated backups: Set the frequency. You can select once a day, week, month or setup a custom date.
Backup Rotation: How many backup rotation do you want?
When the backup rotation limit is reached, Softaculous will delete the oldest backup for the installation and a new backup will be created. The backups will utilize your space so choose the backup rotation as per the space available on your server.
After you have filled the details, before you click on the Install Button, you can choose to select a theme right away for use. But if you don’t select any theme, the default WordPress theme will be use.
If you want the installation details emailed to you, then input an email address.
4. Next, Make sure you Double Check what you filled, before you then click on the Install Button for data checking.
If the installation process is successful, you will get a success message:
