In this post, I am going to show you how to create an email account with your domain name using Cpanel.
Having a professional email with your domain name improves on the credibility of your website and build trust.
Why there are paid professional domain email services out there like Gsuite with more features, if you are low on budget you can start out with the free domain email you can get from your Cpanel Hosting.
How To Create An Email Account With Your Domain Name Using Cpanel.
Login into your Cpanel and from the email section click on Email Accounts.
On the email account page, click on the Add Email Account Tab
Next, in the Email field, you will need to enter an Account name to use with your domain name. If you have multiple domain names, you will need to select the Domain you want the email created for.
You will need to enter a Password you want to use with the email account. Both Password & Password (Again) need to be the same. It is important that you use a strong password.
For the Mailbox quota, it is the limit on the size each mailbox can reach. The standard option is 250MB and the other option is unlimited. You can set your custom size from the standard option to the quota size you want.
Don’t forget that when the limit in size is reached, you will not be able to receive emails.
If you are unsure what size to use, you can just leave it on Unlimited.
After you fill all the Add Email Account Options, I recommend you check: Send welcome email with mail client configuration instructions.
Next, Click On The Blue Create Account Button
If the setup is done correctly, you will get a success message.
You can decide to go ahead and view the email details.
Wasn’t this easy?
You can access your newly created email account from Cpanel in the email accounts section or from the cpanel webmail.
Usually, the cpanel webmail link access is something like, yourdomain.com/webmail.
